Pole - Spins, flow and floor work

The most common observation I get from my performances is about the way I dance around the pole, off the pole and rest between moves. So let’s play and I'll share some of my choreography secrets ;-) 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

 

Pole – Intermediate – Advanced tricks

This is where I show you some of my favourite tricks. For this class you must be able to invert safely and confidently. 1.5 hours.

 

Pole Conditioning

Want to build up your strength for greater control? Working towards that next big move? Here we look at pole specific exercises to build strength, control, safe technique and confidence. These exercises will help you take your skills to the next level…Boss mode on! 1 hour, all levels welcome.

 

Pole Safety

This is predominantly a Q & A session, perfect for beginners wanting to go more in depth with their training as well as more seasoned polers and instructors wanting a technique refresher and more training tips. Let’s be honest, pole is hard and can be very dangerous so safety is always a concern. We will cover everything you need to know about your apparatus and studio space, efficient warm up routines, strength building and good training habits, spotting techniques and variations, safe practices for training alone, cool down stretches and correct technique for flexibility exercises. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Performance coaching

These private lessons are available for all skill levels.

So you want to perform a pole or burlesque routine on stage for a show or competition? Awesome! I will provide as much support as required including;

Yoga workshops

There are 3 styles of class currently available and suitable for all ages and abilities.

Yoga for general well being.

This is a class that covers many facets of yoga and is very beneficial for your everyday life. You will learn physical postures and stretches that will increase circulation, mobility in your joints and strengthen and tone your muscles. Various breathing exercises and meditations for stress relief and relaxation. Yoga is also very helpful for injury prevention and recovery.

 

Yoga for dancers.

These lessons are specifically designed for dancers to help with warming up for training or performing. Working on some specific flexibility techniques and some injury prevention/management advice.  

 

Splits and Back bending.

The title says it all but please don’t be put off by it. In this class you will be doing stretches and exercises to assist you in working towards your splits i.e. hip openers, hamstrings, straddles, forward bends etc. Along with gentle mobility exercises to increase movement and flexibility in your spine and strengthening your core so you can support a beautiful back bend.

 

Attire for yoga – Comfortable stretchy clothing like tights and t-shirt/singlet, leotard/unitard etc

Bring your own mat, blanket and strap if you have them (limited amount supplied)



Dance Workshops

Booty Camp

All the elements of your bump n grind burlesque wrapped in some hip hop goodness. We will learn different techniques of booty popping, bumping, grinding, twerking and shaking and then put it all into a simple little dance routine. Wear booty shorts (nothing too tight so your butt can jiggle in all its glory), sneakers, leg warmers or knee pads to protect your knees for floor work. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Floorwork

This class is all about getting down and dirty on the floor.

We will cover all manner of movements including various ways of getting down and getting back up, seated and kneeling poses, crawling, rolling and much more! There is a certain amount of flexibility involved however I will also include adaptations and alternative options as well as some “fake it ‘til you make it” secrets. Knee pads or leg warmers are required. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Lap Dance & Striptease

In this class you will learn a sexy chair dance to tease and tantalise your special someone. You will need layers, an extra bra (if you have pasties then by all means wear them!), spare shorts/knickers (or shorts/knickers over a G-string if you like), a man’s button up shirt and your favourite pair of heels. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

The Big T

T-t-t-t-tease! Come explore the realms of burlesque tease with Trillian. Learn about using your body, movements (or lack of), facial expressions and costume pieces to create a tantalising burlesque act all of your own that will leave your audiences gagging for more!!! Bring a robe, gloves, your favourite lingerie and pasties (Nudity is not compulsory, if stripping down to pasties aren’t your thing then a second bra to take off) 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.


Technique Workshops

T & A – Tassels and Assels with Trillian 

Ready to have a twirling good time?
Learn a whole bunch of tricks and techniques of tassel twirling using your nipples and your butt cheeks. It’s a staple element in classic burlesque and a whole lot of fun. Bring your own tassels and preferred adhesive. 
1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Floorwork

This class is all about getting down and dirty on the floor.

We will cover all manner of movements including various ways of getting down and getting back up, seated and kneeling poses, crawling, caterpillar and reverse caterpillar, shoulder rolls, splits, knee and leg circles and much more! There is a certain amount of flexibility involved however I will also include adaptations and alternative options as well as some “fake it ‘til you make it” secrets. Knee pads or leg warmers are required. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Walking & Teasing – How to Diva

In this class we will begin our journey into the art of tease. The tease begins that first moment you step on stage and connect with your audience, long before the clothes begin to come off. Trillian is going to give you the tools to bring out your inner burlesque diva and whip your audience into a frenzy. We will cover posture and lines of the body, posing, walking in heels, improvisation and stage presence. Wear comfortable, form fitting clothing and your favourite pair of heels. 1.5 hours, all levels welcome.

Choreography

How to create a unique and memorable routine, what music to choose, what to wear, how to connect with your audience, hair and makeup, performance/competition prep, backstage etiquette…all of the things!!! This is a Q & A session so bring a note book and lots of questions. We may dance a little if time and space allow. 1 hour
